I am tired.

I just returned from a 19 day, 3,800mi trip from my home in Michigan to Halifax, Nova Scotia, with a side trip to Bar Harbor/Acadia National Park, Maine. During that trip, everything worked flawless... I averaged 12.6mpg towing my 5th wheel with the diesel, and went through 5 gal of DEF.

We went with 6 other couples, and the only issues were one Class-C went through 3 tires (I think they were old tires too), one No-Lube bearing seized on another couple's fifth wheel; another had a chronic tire leak, and I ended up fixing an electrical problem on one of the other motorhomes in the group. I ended up being the "fix it guy" on the trip. Still, with RV ages from 1yr to 20yr old on the trip, after 3,800mi, it's amazing that the problems were only minor.

I have published several videos of my trip, and hope you enjoy them. We left after Labor Day thinking the crowds would not be as great, and that was true to a certain extent. Some campgrounds were all but deserted, however the campgrounds in the Acadia area were still quite full, and still many crowds of people.

Needless to say, I did not get any project videos done during this time. I did a couple of projects though during the trip, but have to create and publish the videos for them.

We have one more camp out in two weeks which has traditionally been a season ender for us, as we take advantage of the full-hookup site and really flush out our holding tanks in preparation for winterization.

I mentioned previously that I was having some reliabiltiy problems with my Cylon Eye, but I think I have it fixed. It operated during the entire trip, While traveling driving rain and 3,800mi worth of 60mph wind. I will soon publish the changes I made, and hopefully this fixes the problem for good.

I still have to finish up on some automation videos and I still have time to do that after the camper is winterized. We will continue to have mild weather in Oct and Nov (especially if it is truly an el Nino year), but due to night-time temperatures that can dip below the freezing point, I have to winterize it soon.

I typically switch the video theme during the winter months more to technology than actual projects, and am planning to do the same again.

I am thinking of RV-Electrical, and perhaps determining how much you can tow type videos.

I hope to get a few items up for sale which are unused items, or slightly used for creation of the videos. Look for that by the first of the year. I also still want to do some kind of forum, whether it be a RV-Project.Com based forum or perhaps Facebook. Facebook would certainly be a lot easier, but with less control.

I think I am going to go to sleep for a week...
