Ludington State Park is located about 7 miles north of Ludington, Mi, and is one of the nicest - if not nicest park in Michigan. The campground is one of the largest in Michigan, with over 350 campsites. Due to it's popularity, it is heavily used, so early reservations are a must.

The park is nestled in a dunes area between Lake Michigan and Hamlin Lake, and features it's own river, dam, and lighthouse. There are many hiking and biking trails in the park, an outdoor pavilion with frequent entertainment, and a camp store.

Like most Michigan State Parks, the campsites feature electricity only - and there are dump facilities in the park.

One of the highlights of a visit to Ludington is stopping into the House of Flavors. They make their own ice cream on-site.
