Snow Lake Campground
Located north of Ionia, Snow Lake Campground is a private campground, with a few pull throughs and some full hook up sites.
The campground is about 10 miles north of Ionia, adjacent to Snow Lake. There are really no swimming facilities on the lake, but the campground does have a pool. Like most private campgrounds, there is a huge seasonal contingent, and at night, there are literally hundreds of golf carts driving around. This is a family oriented campground, and often weekends will feature old-fashioned bag races and other activities. There is a small resturant on-site, and the cheese cake is outstanding. The non-seasional campsites were a bit small, and ours had a small tree that prevented us from fully extending our awning. However, it was a pull-through site with full hookups.
