Camping at Tri Ponds Family Campground, Allegan, Mi.
Named for the three ponds at the campground, Tri Ponds is a nicel family campground, and offers many amenities, including fishing and swimming in the ponds, a swimming pool, minature golf, horeshoes, petting zoo, and ice cream. It is a nice, clean, and quiet campground and is a great weekend getaway.
The campground is located about 6 miles from Allegan, off M-40. The easiest way to get there is to get to Allegan from your starting point, then from Allegan to the campground. There are no stores near the area, so you will have to get your provisions on the way to the campground. However, there are a few items available at the camp store, but not many.
The park has a two swim suit policy, meaning that if you swim in the pond, you must not use the same swim suit in the pool. There is a recreation center on the lower floor of the administration building offering a pool table, table tennis, air hockey, and a quiet area around a fire place.
