Wilson State Park - Harrison, Mi
Wilson State Park is on Budd lake, within the city limits of Harrison, Mi.
The campground has 160 modern campsites with electric only, some of which are pull through. Being in the city limits of Harrison, the campground is in the proximity of grocery, gas, and convenience stores are quite close. Across the street from the state park is the Clare County Fairgrounds, so it is within walking distance of events that occur there. Most of the sites are level, but a few are not, so check with the reservation system to be sure you know what kind of site you are getting. Sites are also somewhat worn, so on rainy days, you may find mud outside of your camper.
There is a swimming beach that is fairly narrow, although at the south end of the park, so if you are on the north end, there is somewhat of a walk to the beach.
