With the typical RV, if you are not breaking it, you are not using it. Over the years I have owned a RV, I have been able to come up with a "spare parts kit" of items that have broken over the years. This kit contains items that are hard to purchase locally when you are out in the boonies. For example, I carry a tube of roof sealant, but I do not carry the caulking gun. The reason is that I can buy a caulking gun at virtually any hardware store, but not the sealant.
I will add an item to this list on an annual basis, or as the need arises. I will typically add items that have broken during use of my RV.

Roof Lap SealantAdvertisement Lap sealant is available in many formulations and brands, including sealants for EPDM and TPO roofs, various colors, and leveling and non-leveling formulations. Leveling means the sealant will smooth out and is appropriate for horizontal surfaces. Non-leveling stays put, and is more useful for vertical surfaces.
